Encroaching Darkness

-The party discovers Bacouth has increased in his madness over time, and that the Priests of the Stars are very religious with lots of rules.

-A ranger comes and tells the party that the boy Jakoba ran away. The party discovers that Jakoba was actually not a boy, but some kind of shape shifter, who was likely planning for some kind of attack.

-The party returns to Bacouth and there is a feast, which consisted entirely of alchohol distilled from various things, one of which being the Urash tree [check with brian on this, I forget if this is true or not]

-Bacouth and the priests prepare for battle as the party informs him of the coming Ruk shol. Bacouth considers that the Dewfrond vine may in fact be evil.

-The Ruk Shol attack, this time with shamans and also a new, before unheard of race that are similar to drow. It is speculated that these might be a controlling race that dictates the ruk Shol.

-The Ruk shol and the mysterious race throw some kind of black tarry substance on the Urash tree that makes it start to go dark. Bacouth is badly wounded in battle. Azariah nearly dies. The Ruk Shol and the elvish race are barely repelled.
